What Happens To Your Body When You Control Your Breathing Every Day: Breathing is a natural functioning of our body that occurs automatically to keep us alive. Yogi’s and saints done tremendous effects from thousands of years ago that your breathing has many hidden aspects related to your body and mind and if a person can be able to change or control his or her breath then he can definitely change his life too.

Even now science has proved this fact that many amazing transformations happens whenever you control your breathing every day. Basically, a healthy person breaths 20,000 in a single day but we never feel any concern for that because it just happens automatically.

Have you ever noticed that whenever you feel sick or in anger instantly your breathing style changes and moves fast? Well, there are very few people who pay attention towards their breathing and try to control it; I mean who cares for that procedure that we are not doing it’s just happening.

Ancient monks and Yogis were much concerned about breathing techniques and they have always emphasis to watch their breath and control it. They used to teach their disciples to control breath and it takes months to achieve success.

Breathing to essential need to keep us alive and moving and it kicks out the carbon dioxide and toxins from our body that are really harmful to us. Now many studies and researchers have been proved that a particular way of breathing affects your mind and body and can do magical effects on your body.

The studies showed that people who were suffering from anxiety, hypertension, insomnia, and stress has done breathing control and they overcome all these troubles in just three months.

Controlled breathing provides you inner peace and relaxation of your body and mind. For that, you need not join any institution or Yoga center you can do it by yourself at home.

In this article, we will mention some simple techniques of ‘how to control your breath’ and what are the benefits of doing so, so let’s have a look at these surprising ancient methods but before that understand about your breath.

What is Diaphragmatic Breathing?

What you know about breathing, inhaling and exhaling some air, that’s it? Well, no, don’t roll your eyes because it is true. Many of us breathe from their chest which is called shallow breathing or improper way of breathing.

Some of us breathe from their stomach, which is a deep breathing method and called Diaphragmatic breathing. Everyone tries to breathe via belly and this is the right way to breathe.

If your breath is shallow and you are just inhaling and exhaling from your chest then you have to change the mode and control your breathing and that’s what we called controlled breathing.     

What is the Meaning of Controlled Breathing?

As we know that our heart and brain and the whole body are working for 24*7 and that’s why breathing procedure happens. The whole body functioning is not in over hands but breathes controlling is.

Whenever we feel stress or anxiety our body counteracts to make balance so sometimes we feel a headache or aches in other body parts. When we stay alert and conscious through our breathing instantly our brain become calm so as the heartbeat.

In modern lifestyle, as you see we are becoming a thinking creature. We think whole day and 90% of thoughts are just rubbish and garbage that only disturb our mind and affects the PFC stands for Prefrontal Cortex that is brain power to take make decisions and paying attention towards the things.

Techniques to Control Breathing Every Day:

There are three simple and easy techniques available that can help you to control your breathing. You can choose any of them whatever suits you and practice it regularly.

1. The Coherent Technique of Breathing:

First of all, choose the right posture for you; you can sit or lie down on a mat or even on your bed.

Now breathe slowly and look at your belly whether you’re breathing make your belly move up and down.

You can place your hands on your belly or also keep a light weighted book on your belly for more attention. 

Be aware and stay conscious during the whole procedure and slowly inhale and exhale from your belly and repeat this technique for 10 to 15 minutes.  

2. Core Technique of Breathing:

Sit comfortably on a chair and keep your back straight and place both hands on your belly. 

As you exhale, try to expand your belly as much you can do and hold your breath out for some seconds according to your suitability.

Now release it, and perform it again for another 10 minutes. Try to focus and don’t pay much attention to your mind.   

3. HA Technique of Breathing:

Stand straight and keep a specific space between your legs. Wear loose and comfortable attire during the process.

Bent your elbows on a 90-degree angle and keep your palms up.

While exhaling makes an HA sound loudly and let it begin. Thrust your palms up and down and let them move fast, do not care much just concentrate on your exhaling and inhaling.

Repeat the process for 15 to 20 minutes.

Our ancestors were quite intelligent so they found such techniques that we are unaware of. If you can be able to control your breathing then you can control many physical and mental troubles of your life.
